The Sharks will be looking for similar effort to that on display against the Cowboys last night but are certain to be hoping for a different result when they head to Leichhardt Oval to take on the Wests Tigers this weekend.
Desperately unlucky when beaten in golden point by the Cowboys in Monday Night Football, the Sharks have a chance to end their season on a winning note against a Tigers side out of finals contention and also battling a long injury toll.
For the Tigers clash the Sharks welcome back hooker Michael Lichaa and back rower Tinirau Arona, with the pair late withdrawals from the North Queensland game due to injury. They return at the expense of debutant Patrice Siolo and utility Penani Manumalealii.
Retaining their places in the Sharks side that played in Townsville are lock Scott Sorensen, along with second rowers Sione Masima and Junior Roqica, with the trio solid on Monday evening against a Cowboys pack featuring Australian front rowers Matt Scott and James Tamou.
Jeff Robson, despite suffering a bad head cut in the Cowboys clash, has again been named as captain and is expected to take his place in the side on Saturday.
The Sharks v Tigers match is scheduled for a 3.00pm kickoff at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday afternoon, with the NYC getting underway at 10.40am.
