There will be no shock returns by the likes of Paul Gallen and Chris Heighington, with the Sharks starting team intact for tonight’s match against the North Queensland Cowboys.

While hopeful of an early return possibly next week, Gallen will miss the Cowboys match, while Heighington is a further week away as he continues his rehabilitation from a calf strain.

In the only significant change to the Sharks line up, prop Sam Tagataese has been left off what was a six man bench.

The Sharks four interchange players will now be Pat Politoni, Siosaia Vave, Tinirau Arona and Tim Robinson.

Wade Graham will captain the side, with Andrew Fifita primed for a big performance after playing his first match last weekend after a lengthy stint on the sideline with injury.

The match, which kicks off RiseForAlex Round, is scheduled to get underway at 7.40pm.
