The NRL season is approaching the business end and so is the Mary Holland Big League Cheerleader of the Year competition, which has passed through the preliminary stages and moves into the final rounds.

And carrying the banner for the Sharks is Oporto Mermaid Carly, who this week goes up against Cassie from the Sea Eagles

A primary school teacher when she isn’t performing for Sharks fans on game day, Carly is a local Cronulla girl and she needs your vote to progress to the next stage as she bids to become the 2014 Cheerleader of the Year.

See page 62 in the current edition of Big League Magazine for more information, but to vote for Carly simply SMS her name to 19 992 220 or ‘Like’ Carly on the Big League Facebook page.

Those fans who register a vote go into the draw to win ‘The Ultimate Grand Final Experience’, a prize which includes 2 tickets to the 2014 NRL Grand Final, 2 return economy flights, 2 nights of 4-star twin share accommodation plus hotel transfers for out of Sydney winners.

There are also weekly Sony CD giveaways.

So register your vote for Carly and help her become the 2014 Cheerleader of the Year.
