After being held scoreless by the Sea Eagles and after a weekend of media scrutiny which followed, the Sharks travel to Brisbane intent on restoring some pride when they take on the Broncos on Friday night.

The Sharks have the chance to atone for recent disappointments in what is their first Friday night hit out of 2014.

Paul Gallen and Luke Lewis will again be on deck, this time after a weeks rest rather than the two days they had to recover from Origin game two, while Todd Carney should also be better for the run against the Sea Eagles which was his first match since injuring his hamstring back in round 10.

In changes to the line up Jeff Robson is set to return in the halves, meaning Fa’amanu Brown will come off the bench in a dummy half role, with Jonathan Wright and Jacob Gagan have been added to the backline at the expense of Blake Ayshford and Nathan Gardner. Michael Gordon shifts from the wing back to his more accustomed role at fullback.

The match is scheduled for a 7.40pm kickoff at Suncorp, with Channel 9 showing the game in NSW on delay, the telecast starting at around 9.30pm.
