While Sharks TV will again provide match highlights, interviews with Sharks players, coaches and staff in and around training and on game day, as well as at club and community events, this year there will be a concerted push for more fan interaction, allowing us to provide a wider, more diverse range of interesting Sharks-related content.

The first installment for 2014, ‘live’ from the Sharks TV Studio, provides a glimpse of what we will be all about.

Week one features ‘field reporter’ Don Rogers, passionate Sharks fan and son of club immortal Steve and brother of recently retired Sharks, Gold Coast, Queensland and Australian representative Mat, kicks off the ‘new’ Sharks TV with an exclusive interview with former World surfing champion Mark Occhilupo.

Donny covers a whole range of topics, including ‘Occys’ upbringing in Kurnell and on the beaches of Cronulla, along with his long-time obsession with the Sharks.

Tasman Palazzi, a young Sharks fan making a name for himself in the acting world, having recently appeared in the Baz Luhrmann film the Great Gatsby, is another to debut as a Sharks ‘field reporter’. Tasman dropped by a recent training session to ask a few light hearted questions of the NRL playing group.

We hope you enjoy, this the first special edition of Sharks TV for 2014.
