Big things are predicted of young Sharks hooker Michael Lichaa, a player with enormous potential.

A local junior, Lichaa has represented the NSW Under 20’s Origin team in the past two interstate clashes, while also co-captaining the Junior Kangaroos against the Junior Kiwis.

Following a solid pre-season and after playing a pivotal role in the Sharks NSW Cup Grand Final victory in 2013, Lichaa looks certain to push the established hookers in the Sharks squad for a berth in the NRL 17 this year.

He appears certain to be a part of the Sharks Auckland Nines squad, while Lichaa is also expected to play significant game time in the two pre-season trial matches against the Sea Eagles and Tigers.

In a new and regular segment on Sharks TV, where we will meet the young guns and new faces, Lichaa gave fans an insight into his background, his hopes and his aspirations for the 2014 season.
