As you are well aware, the NRL are conducting an investigation into whether the NRL Code of Conduct was breached in the past by our Club or any persons who were associated with the Club.
The NRL Rules set out a process for these investigations and the Club have assisted as much as possible throughout the process.
In the circumstances it is important that the investigation is thorough and rigorous and naturally this all takes time to finalise.
We have been advised by the NRL that at this stage no determination has been made.
On the field we are focused on building on the success of 2013 and last night our Head Coach Shane Flanagan staged an outstanding CLUB night with 130 Sharks players (Harold Mathews squad, SG Ball squad, State Cup, Holden Cup & NRL) all proudly wearing Black, White and Blue training together for 2 hours followed by a Club BBQ with Paul Gallen coming along to be one of the cooks.
