Monday to Sunday: 10am to 2am

What changes have been made to the Club?

Sharks at Kareela has been recently renovated:

• New carpet, ceilings and paint throughout the Club
• New roof
• New reception tiles
• Soon to open Sharks Official Merchandise Store

What about the staff changes?

You will see some familiar faces from Sharks and Sporties joining the Sharks at Kareela family.

Our staff will be providing exceptional customer service to look after our customers in brand new uniforms.

What about Golf?

Golf will continue to run as usual and we are currently working on some areas of the golf course. It is currently in outstanding condition, first time in a long time.

Will my Sharks Leagues Club Membership be valid at Kareela?

Yes it will.

Will I be able to use my Sporties at Kareela Membership Card at Sharks at Kareela?

No, but it’s an easy fix as one of our reception staff will update you with a new Sharks at Kareela Membership Card when you visit the Club

What happens to my rewards points?

You will not miss out on any points from your Sharks or Sporties membership card, the points will be added to your new Sharks at Kareela card.

How much is it to become a new member?

$20 for 5 years or $5 for 1 year

Is there any special on offer for becoming a new member?

Yes if you are a new member and purchase a 5 year membership for $20 your will receive 1000 of points

If I purchase a 5 year membership will my card be able to be used at both venues?

Yes you will be able to use your card at Sharks at Kareela and Sharks Leagues when the Club re-opens.

Will Sharks at Kareela shut when Sharks Leagues Club at Woolooware re-opens?

No Sharks at Kareela will remain open as well as Sharks Leagues Club at Woolooware

Can I pay for my renewal on line?

Yes you can renew your membership card on line or pay in person at our reception.

Is Sharks at Kareela a Covid Safe Venue and what precautions have we taken?

• Strict cleaning guidelines and checklist as well as a Covid marshall will be on site
• All dining and lounges have been set in accordance to the Covid rules of the 1.5metre distance
• We have reduced the capacity of each room to apply with the 1 person per 4 square metres
• Ample sanitising stations throughout the club

Our staff have completed several courses on Work Health Safety and the management of COVID-19. This includes numbers in venue, social distancing, hand washing, cleaning, and disinfecting protocols, including proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The Club is cleaned and disinfected throughout the course of the day. This has been escalated to ensure all touch points are cleaned more often especially those in high contact areas.

Signage: You will notice lots of signage around the Club assisting you with COVID-19 restrictions, please take the time to read these signs and follow the guidelines.

Social Distancing: It is paramount during your stay that you always comply with Social Distancing when seated, queuing, using restrooms, entry and exiting the Club.

We have created our areas reflective of these restrictions and we ask that your continued support will keep our doors open and our staff back on track to normal employment.

Cove Bar & Grill Catering

 

What are the Cove Bar & Grill trading hours?

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday

• 11:30am to 2:30pm Lunch
• 5:30pm to 8:30pm Dinner

Friday and Saturday

• 11:30am to 2:30pm Lunch
• 5:30pm to 9:30pm Dinner

Will Cove Bar and Grill remain as the caterers when you open?

Yes the restaurant, cafe and functions will be have the same caterers as previously

Will there be any change?

Yes we will have exciting new menus for our restaurant and a new café – The Blue Barista Café which will also have brand new menus.

Will the function facilities be available when Sharks at Kareela opens?

Our function facilities will be guided by the government restrictions currently in place due to Covid19.

Any other changes?

Yes we will now provide full table service for food and beverage.
