Pilot Medical Update – Braydon Trindall

Sharks’ half Braydon Trindall had surgery on his shoulder today (02/10/2026), with an aim to be fit and firing for round 1 of the 2027 NRL Season.

Trindall faces a 4–5-month recovery period and will start rehab at the club next month after his time off.

Cronulla’s number 6 dislocated his shoulder while scoring a try in round 24 against the Canberra Raiders but initially put off surgery so he could return to play four weeks later, battling through two finals fixtures.

Trindall will be joined by Toby Rudolf in the rehab group, with the 133-game Shark going under the knife on Wednesday (30/09/2026).

Rudolf hurt his knee in the club’s round 15 win over the Warriors and will likely be sidelined for 3-4 months after having an MCL reconstruction.
