Fogarty, Morrin, Hazelton, Seyfarth join PM's XIII squad

Sea Eagles halfback Jamal Fogarty, Titans utility Kurtis Morrin, Sharks prop Thomas Hazelton and Wests Tigers forward Alex Seyfarth have joined the Australian Prime Minister's XIII squad ahead of Saturday's clash with the PNG Prime Minister's XIII.

The quartet were added to the squad after William Kennedy, Jojo Fifita, Kurt Mann and Nathan Brown were ruled out.

Hazelton has joined the starting side in the front row while Morrin, Seyfarth and Fogarty have been added to the interchange bench.

The team features rising stars Ryan and Toby Couchman and their fellow Dragon Hamish Stewart, as well as established stars like Rabbitohs second-rower David Fifita and Bulldog Lachlan Galvin.

The Women’s Prime Minister’s XIII is once again an incredible showcase of young talent, including Sharks fullback Jada Taylor, Cowboys lock Bree Chester and Dragons enforcer Ahlivia Ingram.

Australian Rugby League Commission Executive Chairman Peter V’landys AM congratulated all players on their selection in these special teams.

“The players selected are some of the best players in the game,” Mr V’landys said.

“Not only do they have the opportunity to represent their country, they will be ambassadors for Australia and for Rugby League. They will change lives for the better.

“On behalf of the Commission, I congratulate them on their selection.”

The Men’s Prime Minister’s XIII side will be coached by premiership and Origin winner Ben Te’o, while the Women’s squad will be led by Jillaroos coach Jess Skinner.

Women’s Prime Minister’s XIII Coach Jess Skinner said her squad is packed with some amazing emerging stars who are hungry to experience International Rugby League over in Papua New Guinea.

“This is a really exciting group of players who have each had a fantastic 2026 NRLW season. The abundance of young talent balanced with our experienced leaders will ensure we put on an entertaining show.

“With the women’s international game going from strength to strength, the players can’t wait for the game.”
