NRL Gameday Guide: Week 1 Finals v Cowboys

The 5th-placed Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks will host the 8th-placed North Queensland Cowboys at Allianz Stadium this Saturday night at 7:50pm (September 12) - get your tickets HERE.

With the winner advancing to Finals Week Two to meet the loser of the Panthers v Roosters qualifying final, the club is calling all Cronulla fans to rise together and turn Allianz into Sydney's black, white and blue 'Shark Tank.' 

As an added bonus, Saturday will be billed as a Sharks double-header, with the NRLW Sharks v Dragons match also relocated to Allianz and kicking off at 5.10‌pm.

Key Timings: Saturday, September 12th
 3.50pm - First round of Sharks shuttle buses depart Ocean Protect Stadium for Allianz Stadium
 4.00pm - Sharks Official Fan Meet-Up opens at Watson’s Hotel, EQ
 5.00pm - Gates Open at Allianz Stadium
 5.02pm - G-train (dedicated train for Sharks fans) departs the Cronulla Train Station for Central Station
 5.10pm - NRLW Round 11 Kick-Off: Sharks v Dragons
 5.50pm - Second round of Sharks shuttle buses departs Ocean Protect Stadium
 6.30pm - NRLW Full-Time (approx) 
 7.00pm - Sharks fans march from Watson's Hotel to Allianz Stadium
 7.50pm – NRL Week 1 Finals Kick-Off: Sharks v Storm

NRL Finals Week 1 and NRLW Round 11 ticketing information

Tickets are now available to the general public via THIS link with a ticket valid for both NRLW and NRL games.

Ticketed Members must use their Advantage Access Number (AAN) to purchase tickets. Unique codes can be found by clicking HERE. Ticketed Members should keep a record of their AAN for seamless purchasing.

Non-ticketed Members will be provided with a generic code via email.

Please note – Sharks Membership cards cannot be scanned for entry to the game.

Tickets are available from $29 for adults and $79 for families across all final's venues in weeks one and two.

All matches in Week One of the NRL Telstra Premiership 2026 finals series will be broadcast live on the Nine Network, Fox League, Kayo Sports, 9NOW and Sky NZ.

The Cronulla Sharks and Sharks at Kareela are unable to process any transactions or assist with the purchasing of tickets, including accessible and group ticketing. For all ticketing enquiries, Members must contact Ticketek, who can be contacted below:

Getting to the game - Transport 
Catch the G-train to the game!
A special train dedicated to Sharks fans, decked out in black, white and blue, which departs from Cronulla Station, Platform 1 at 5:02pm on Saturday (T4 Bondi Junction via Kogarah) and is scheduled to arrive at Central Station at 5:52pm, then it's a 25-minute walk from Central Station to Allianz Stadium.

Match tickets include train travel, which runs regularly from the Sutherland Shire on the T4 Bondi Junction via Kogarah or T4 Bondi Junction via Wolli Creek lines into Central Station, and then it's a 25-minute walk from Central Station to Allianz Stadium.

Shuttle Buses
Register your interest HERE if you'd like to catch a shuttle bus from the Shire.

Shuttle buses will run from Ocean Protect Stadium at 3.58pm and 5.58pm and drop fans off at Allianz Stadium at the southern end of Driver Avenue, a short walk from Watson's Hotel at the EQ, where Sharks fans will gather pre-game.

Shuttle buses will depart Allianz Stadium from the southern end of Driver Avenue after the Sharks-Cowboys elimination final and return to Ocean Protect Stadium.

Shuttle buses are free for match ticket holders and will commence service when gates open.

Membership & Ticketing

A reminder that 2026 Membership Passes will not grant entry into Saturday’s double-header at Allianz Stadium.

All tickets to the match will need to be pre-purchased via Ticketmaster HERE.

Ticketed Members will be required to use their AAN Code to purchase tickets. Ticketed Members should've received an email on Friday, 4 September, 2026, with details about how to access your AAN code directly from the NRL. Still haven't got your code? CLICK HERE to obtain it.

Non-Ticketed Members can purchase tickets from 4:00 PM on Monday, 7 September 2026 using the unique code emailed to them.

The Membership Services Marquee will be at Allianz Stadium on Saturday to assist with all your Membership needs and answer any questions.

You will also have the chance to Register Your Interest in 2027 Membership. See our friendly staff from 5pm outside the Gate Two entrance to the stadium on Saturday.

Match Ticket Entitlements
Match tickets include travel on all modes of public transport; simply show your ticket to transport staff when boarding. 

Valid pre-purchased tickets include travel on the following transport services; just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:  

Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations. 

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey, or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on trains until 4am the following day.

The Sharks' Merch Van will be located in front of NRL Central from 4pm.
An internal merch outlet inside Allianz Stadium, located near Gate 1 from 5pm.
