NRLW Team List: Round 8 v Eels

More injuries for the Sharks NRLW side ahead of their home clash against the Eels at Ocean Protect Stadium on Sunday.

Jaydika Tafua has been ruled out for a number of weeks with a throat fracture suffered in the side's loss to the Cowboys on the weekend.

Rhiannon Byers returns from a leg/back injury in time to take Tafua's place in Cronulla's back row.

The Sharks backline remains the same with recent debutants Milla Elaro and Marewa Samson both on the wing.

Local favourite Talei Holmes has been named in jersey #18 and could play her first NRLW game since last season after having a baby earlier this year.

The Fijian international successfully got through her first game back in Cronulla's Women's Premiership win over Wentworthville on Saturday.

The Sharks' regular halfback and recent Maroons debutant Chantay Kiria-Ratu has been named on the extended bench after missing two weeks with an ankle injury.

Gates open at 3:55pm at Ocean Protect Stadium on Sunday, with the Women's Premiership Sharks playing Parramatta in the curtain-raiser at 4:00pm.

Followed by the NRLW Sharks taking on the Eels at 6:15pm.
