Jesse Ramien has been ruled out on game day for the Sharks after coming down with an illness.

The 29-year-old has been in great form for Cronulla, dominating in attack and defence in last week's big win over the Dolphins.

Mawene Hiroti comes into the centres for Ramien, which brings Sam Stonestreet onto the 6-man bench.

Siosifa Talakai was a late change yesterday as well after suffering an elbow injury, which will keep him out for 1-2 weeks.

The Sharks will also wear a special Women in League jersey to celebrate the round, with players swapping the last name on the back of their jersey with the name of a female loved one.
