NRL Late Mail: Round 18 v Broncos

The Sharks have confirmed their 19-man team for tonight's game against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.

Hohepa Puru moves off the bench into hooker in a straight swap with Jayden Berrell.

It's a move that's proven quite successful for Cronulla, with Berrell winning all 3 games he's played this season, and he swapped from starting to the bench just before kickoff in all 3.

Hohepa Puru, Tom Hazelton, and Billy Burns all promoted to the starting line-up with Blayke Brailey, Addin Fonua-Blake and Briton Nikora in State of Origin camp.

Harrison Hassett has a chance to make his Sharks debut and play his first NRL game this season, named on the 6-man bench.

The backrower made his NRL debut for the Panthers last year, before moving to Cronulla for the 2026 season.

The Sharks hoping to bounce back from a last start loss against the Roosters and keep themselves in the top 8.

The game will kick off at 7:35pm at Suncorp Stadium.
