Senior Representative Team Lists: Round 14

The Jersey Flegg Sharks will be looking to rebound from a disappointing last start loss when they take on the Dragons on Sunday, while the Newtown Jets also host St George Illawarra in round 14, with that match to be played at Henson Park on Saturday.

JERSEY FLEGG
Following a disappointing loss against the Manly Sea Eagles the Jersey Flegg Sharks will be looking for an improved performance on Friday night when they host the ladder-leading Dragons in a round 14 clash at Ocean Protect Stadium.

The under-21 Sharks were out enthused by the Sea Eagles in the 28-18 loss, with the lone bright spot a four-try effort from winger Pharrell Gray.

The Sharks sit sixth on the ladder, while St George Illawarra come into the game on the back of a 26-20 win away from home against Canberra.

KNOCK-ON EFFECT NSW CUP
The up and down 2026 season continued for the Newtown Jets, who put a defeat in round 12 behind them when they scored an impressive 34-20 victory over Manly in their round 13 match.

The Jets raced out to a 24-4 halftime lead and did enough in the second period to claim the two competition points, with the win seeing them entrenched in the top eight in fifth position on the NSW Cup ladder.

Fullback Liam Ison, back on deck after lengthy stint on the sideline following a knee reconstruction, was back to his best in the win, running for 234 metres, with two line breaks, a try and a try assist.

Their opponents this weekend in the Dragons are currently seventh and were soundly beaten by the Raiders 44-16 at their most recent outing.
