Three Sharks in action at Women's City-Country matches

Three Sharks women's pathways players will feature in today's City v Country Origin matches to be played at WIN Stadium in Wollongong. 

In the under 19's, Sharks Women's Pathways Player of the Year Koffi Brookfield (pictured) will suit up and represent Country, while on the other side of the field will be her Tarsha Gale teammate Ella Ropata who also enjoyed a strong 2026 season in a Sharks team which won their way through to the competition Grand Final. 

In the under-17s match in Wollongong today, Lisa Fiaola Cup goal-kicking halfback Tahli Weigand will be the Sharks lone representative when she runs out for the City team. 

Wiegand, a student at Endeavour Sports High School, was named the Sharks Lisa Fiaolo Cup Player of the Year following the recently completed season.
