Late Mail: Round 10 v Rabbitohs

Following their last start win over the Wests Tigers, Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon has retained his 17-man line-up for the clash with the Rabbitohs later today.

The Sharks turned in a dominant second half performance in beating the Tigers 52-10, with Fitzgibbon certain to be looking for similar commitment and attitude from his team against a Souths side which has started the 2026 season in strong fashion.

The match also represents the 100th game in Cronulla colours for halfback Nicho Hynes, who debuted for the Sharks back in 2022.

In his 99 games for the Sharks to date, Hynes has scored 24 tries, kicked 361 goals and six field goals for a personal points tally of 824 points, while he has a winning percentage of 62 per cent in those games played.

As for the Sharks opponents, both centres in Latrell Mitchell and Jack Wighton will be missing from the Souths line up today.

Sharks have retained Riley Jones and Hohepa Puru on the extended bench.

Kick off at Accor Stadium is at 5.30pm, with the two squads listed below.
