Sharks 8 (Ashton Taylor, Xavier Young tries) def by Raiders 38
A disappointing performance concluded a frustrating season for the Under 17 Sharks, who wound up with two wins from eight matches to finish 13th on the ladder. They showed promise throughout the year but were off the pace in their final outing, trailing by 28-0 at half-time. Cronulla held their gloves up in the second half with two tries, but the game was already too far gone.

Sharks 36 (Thomas Beattie two, Isaac Dawson two, Jake White, Cruz Parkin, Callum Grantham tries; Callum Grantham four goals) def Raiders 14
It was a case of what could have been for the Under 19 Sharks, who narrowly missed the finals after claiming emphatic back-to-back wins to end the year. Fresh off an upset victory against the Panthers last week, the Chad Townsend-coached side ran through the Raiders in a dominant display featuring seven tries.
Lisa Fiaola Cup
Sharks 30 (Shaleah Field two, Tahli Weigand two, Eden Edwards tries; Tahli Weigand five goals) def Raiders 4
Playing for a finals berth, the Under 17 Sharks girls left nothing to chance in a five-tries-to-one blitz of Canberra. A sin-bin in each half cruelled the Raiders as Cronulla kicked clear after taking a 12-0 lead into the break. An elimination match against the Storm at Leichhardt Oval awaits the Sharks on Saturday.
Tarsha Gale Cup
Sharks 22 (Ayva Papalii, Ella Ropata, Chloe Shephard, Manawanui James; Ella Ropata two goals, one penalty goal) def Raiders 10
The Under 19 Sharks women sealed a top-four berth with a tough win over a Raiders outfit that pushed them all the way. Canberra pulled the margin back to 14-10 after 45 minutes, but the Sharks quickly responded with a try to Manawanui James before an Ella Ropata penalty goal shored up the result. The Sharks will now contest a qualifying final against the minor premiership-winning Indigenous Academy Roosters at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday morning.
