The Sharks continued their Junior Rep momentum in Round 4, chalking up three wins from four games against the Dragons.
While the Lisa Fiaola, Tarsha Gale and SG Ball sides were dominant, the Harold Matthews team fell short of a comeback victory at Ocean Protect Stadium.

Down 24-0 after 36 minutes, the Sharks roared to life in the second half with three converted tries. A four-pointer with three minutes remaining gave the hosts a chance to level the scores at the death, but they ultimately left their run too late.

The Under 19 Sharks opened their account for 2026 in style, keeping the Dragons scoreless in an encouraging performance. After taking a hard-earned 10-0 lead into half-time, Cronulla scored two more tries in the second half to put the result beyond doubt and earn two much-needed competition points.

Sharks 62 (Tahli Weigand three; Maya Bower two; Eden Edwards two; Rhianna Karika two; Sienna Best; Ngamiri Hughes tries; Tahli Weigand nine goals) def Dragons 0
For the second time in two weeks, the Under 17 Sharks girls posted 62 points in an emphatic display of attacking flair and defensive steel. Halfback Tahli Weigand starred with an individual 30-point haul, crossing for a hat-trick while also booting nine goals. Winger Maya Bower and fullback Eden Edwards scored doubles.
Tarsha Gale Cup
Sharks 24 (Brooklyn Allan Kingi, Koffi Brookfield, Ayva Papalii, Julliana Kolio tries; Ella Ropata four goals) def Dragons 0
In the third shutout of the day, the Under 19 Sharks women proved too strong for the Dragons after striking hard with two tries inside the first 10 minutes. They led 18-0 at half-time and maintained the ascendency to bank a valuable victory.
