GALLERY: Sharks launch season alongside community
It was a community affair as the Sharks launched the 2026 NRL season alongside a flock of supporters at Peryman Square, Cronulla, on Monday morning. The NRL squad marched into the precinct along the esplanade before being brought on stage and introduced to the crowd by Channel Nine's Allana Ferguson. The players then mingled with fans, signing autographs and taking photos before heading into The Pines for a corporate breakfast. With Triple M's Beau, Cat and Woodsy breakfast show broadcasting live on site, and appearances from the Sharks Mermaids, mascots and merchandise van adding extra excitement to the occasion, it was a season launch that won't be forgotten.
