The Sharks NRL squad did their best Santa Claus impersonations on Thursday, delivering gifts and festive cheer across the community in another memorable Christmas Blitz.
Players and staff visited The Sutherland Hospital, Stella Maris Aged Care, Dandelion Support Network and St George & Sutherland Community College on a morning that showcased the club's unique community connection.
A group including Blayke Brailey, Cameron McInnes, Teig Wilton, Billy Burns and Braden Uele handed out presents at The Sutherland Hospital, boosting the spirits of patients and thanking hard-working medical professionals.
The likes of Toby Rudolf, Jesse Ramien, Braydon Trindall and Tom Hazelton helped residents at Stella Maris Aged Care take part in light exercises to assist with their balance before serving up baked treats for morning tea.
Nicho Hynes, Jesse Colquhoun, Sam Stonestreet and Liam Ison were among a contingent that dropped into St George & Sutherland Community College, joining their disability support unit's end-of-year barbecue and activities.
Meanwhile, Will Kennedy, Siosifa Talakai and Mawene Hiroti headed up a group at Dandelion Support Network, sorting and packing items for families in need.
Young guns were also sent to the various locations in an outstanding display of 'Service Over Self' – one of the club's key values.
"The Sharks are delivering a bit of Christmas spirit and joy," Rudolf said.
"Some people in the community don't have the happiest of Christmases and these festive times can be a bit lonely. We've been taking care of the elderly around Cronulla. They've been so happy to see and really receptive. To put a smile on their faces has been unreal and given me a bit of energy as well.
"They're thanking us for being here but I'm thanking them for letting us come."
Sharks Head of Community & Government Relations Vinh Tran thanked Sharks Ladies Golf and Classic Sportswear, who generously donated presents and official supporter merchandise for a heart-warming cause.
"The Christmas Blitz was the perfect way to conclude a massive year of community engagement and spread joy heading into 2026," Tran added.
"Our players always enjoy giving back to the people who support them week in, week out. It was especially gratifying to play a small role in bringing light and positivity to our community considering the awful events in Bondi last Sunday.
"We wish all our Members and fans a safe and happy holiday season."
