2026 Draw Debrief: Easter treats to savour

From the traditional Good Friday blockbuster between the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs to Easter Monday at CommBank Stadium when Eels and Wests Tigers square off, the Easter weekend is one of the biggest of the season.

The Bunnies and Bulldogs have had a storied rivalry on Good Friday and that continues on April 3, 2026 when Wayne Bennett's men look to avenge a 32-0 loss in last year's clash.

The Easter feast of footy kicks off on the Thursday night with the Dolphins welcoming Tom Turbo and the Sea Eagles to Kayo Stadium before Good Friday delivers the Bunnies-Dogs blockbuster and a heavyweight showdown between the Panthers and Storm just across town at CommBank Stadium.

Easter Saturday action starts at the home of the Red V when Shane Flanagan's men host the Cowboys at 5.30pm (AEDT) before we head north to the Goldie for a derby showdown between the Titans and Broncos.

New Titans coach Josh Hannay would love nothing better than to make a statement against the premiers, who had the better of their south-east Queensland rivals twice in 2025.

Back in 2024 the Titans won just eight games for the season but two of those came over the Broncos.

As the family settles down to an Easter Sunday lunch and a truckload of chocolate the NRL action continues with the Sharks and Warriors meeting at Sharks Stadium before the Knights and Raiders square off in Newcastle.

The public holiday Monday serves up a clash with plenty of spice as Mitch Moses and the Eels face Jarome Luai's Tigers.

Twice in the past four years the Easter Monday game has been decided by a single point as the five-day feast of footy came to a thrilling conclusion.
