Talented lock Tom Dellow will captain an Australian Schoolboys side featuring fellow Sharks juniors Callum Grantham and Jake White against the Junior Kumuls in Port Moresby on Sunday.
Meanwhile, powerful front-rower Felila Fakalelu will represent the Australian Schoolgirls against Papua New Guinea at Santos Football Stadium.
Cronulla's 2024 Junior Rep Player of the Year, Dellow shone in the under-19 SG Ball Cup this year along with playmaker Callum Grantham and prop Jake White.
Dellow and White are products of Endeavour Sports High School – where they're mentored by long-time junior Sharks coaches Brad Kelly and Dave Howlett – while Grantham has come through the prestigious Newington College.
All three Sharks representatives will start in their preferred positions, with Dellow spearheading the pack after making his Australian Schoolboys debut last season.
In relation to the Australian Schoolgirls, Fakalelu's selection came after being named the Sharks' 2024 Female Junior Rep Player of the Year.
This year, the Westfields Sports High School student stepped up to the under-19 Tarsha Gale competition before graduating to the open-age Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership – coming off the bench in Cronulla's Grand Final victory.
Fakalelu has been listed on the interchange for the Schoolgirls side.
Kick-off times for the Australian Schoolboys and Schoolgirls matches are:
- 9am (10am AEDT) Sunday: Junior Orchids v Australian Schoolgirls
- 11am (noon AEDT) Sunday: Junior Kumuls v Australian Schoolboys
Both matches will be streamed on NRL.com before Prime Minister's XIII games.
