NRL Late Mail: Round 27 v Bulldogs

In late mail ahead of the Sharks clash with the Bulldogs, coach Craig Fitzgibbon has made one further change to his17-man line for tonight's match.

The Sharks have omitted Hohepa Puru from the interchange bench, his place to be taken by Oregon Kaufusi who returns after an extended period on the sidelines due to a calf strain.

The only other change to the originally named Sharks side as revealed last night when squads were trimmed to 19 players, sees Daniel Atkinson come into the team for Brayden Trindall, who came from the field in the second half of the win over the Knights last week with an ankle strain.

Atkinson will play in jersey 18.

Cronulla coach Fitzgibbon indicated Trindall had progressed well this week, with the playmaker not to be risked for the final-round clash at Accor Stadium.

Mawene Hiroti is the 18th man, while Kaufusi will play in jersey 21.

The match will also see centre Jesse Ramien play his 150th NRL match for the club after being named to return from a broken thumb.

See the updated squad below.

Kick-off is at 7.35pm. Catch the action on Foxtel, Kayo, 9 and 9 now.
