Late Mail: Round 8 v Warriors

Sharks coach Tony Herman has confirmed several late changes for today's NRLW clash with the Warriors at FMG Stadium Waikato.

Completing her recovery from an ACL injury, speedster Jada Taylor will play her first game since Round 2 last season after being elevated to the interchange at the expense of front-rower Jacinta Carter, who has dropped out of the squad.

Star second-rower Rhiannon Byers (pectoral) has been cleared to return in another massive boost. She will take her place in the starting side, pushing Anne-Marie Kiria-Ratu to the bench and Nakia Davis-Welsh to 18th woman.

Elsewhere, Tyla King will start after being promoted to five-eighth, with Georgia Hannaway shifting to hooker. In turn, Brooke Anderson will switch to lock, allowing Talei Holmes to play in her customary role as an edge forward, while young gun Manilita Takapautolo has reverted to the interchange.

Kick-off is at 1.45pm AEST (3.45pm local time). See the final squads below.
