Colquhoun accepts one-match ban

Sharks forward Jesse Colquhoun will miss Saturday's local derby against the Dragons after accepting a one-match ban for Grade 2 dangerous contact in last week's win over the Cowboys.

Colquhoun was cited for a tackle on North Queensland centre Robert Derby in the 49th minute of the 32-12 win at Sharks Stadium. The prop opted for the early guilty plea given he faced a two-game suspension if he challenged the charge and lost.

Colquhoun, who has played 12 NRL games in 2025 after returning from a knee injury, will be available for the Round 24 clash with the Titans at home.
