The Bulldogs' quest for their first minor premiership since 2012 hit a hurdle on Sunday afternoon as Wests Tigers produced one of the upsets of the season at CommBank Stadium.
With Adam Doueihi moved to halfback and playing a starring role, Wests Tigers controlled the ball much better in the slippery conditions to come away with a 28-14 victory.
In the final game of the round the Sharks made it four wins on the trot as they jumped the Cowboys early and then took the foot off the gas in the second half to win 32-12.
The Sharks will finish the round in seventh place ahead of a huge local derby against the Dragons in Round 23.

The Sharks completed 33 of 41 sets at 80 per cent and had seven line breaks to one as they racked up a 12th win of the season. The Cowboys made 15 errors and conceded seven penalties in a sloppy performance that leaves them in 13th position and just three points clear of the last-placed Rabbitohs.

Half-time: A forward pass from Tom Dearden puts the exclamation mark on a miserable first half for the Cowboys who had only 14 sets compared to Cronulla's 23, and completed just eight of those sets. The Sharks had five line breaks to one and 23 tackle breaks to five.
