NRLW Late Mail: Round 5 v Broncos

The Sharks have shuffled their starting line-up ahead of this afternoon's Magic Round clash with the Broncos in Newcastle.

The powerful Annessa Biddle will shift from centre to the back row, allowing young gun Grace-Lee Weekes to join the backline for her second NRLW game.

Manilita Takapautolo, who was named as an edge forward, will revert to the bench, while speedster Dom du Toit has been elevated to the interchange at the expense of prop Tommaya Kelly-Sines, who is now the 18th player.

Kick-off is at 4.15pm. See the final teams below.

The Sharks have updated their squad for tomorrow afternoon's NRLW Magic Round blockbuster against the Broncos in Newcastle.

In an injury blow, Emma Verran (foot) has been ruled out. After making her Sharks debut last week, New Zealand star Tyla King will start at fullback in her place.

King's promotion has made way for prop Tommaya Kelly-Sines to join the bench, with Olivia Herman and Tia Jordyn-Vasilovski dropping out of the extended squad.

Kick-off at McDonald Jones Stadium is at 4.15pm on Saturday.

Catch the action live on 9, 9Now, Kayo and Foxtel.

Sharks coach Tony Herman has named his squad for an inaugural Magic Round clash with the Broncos at McDonald Jones Stadium.

After a gritty 20-16 victory over Wests Tigers, fifth-placed Cronulla will head to Newcastle for the showpiece event on Saturday with a reshuffled forward pack.

While prop Jacinta Carter is back from a head knock, lock Brooke Anderson and rookie front-rower Stephanie Faulkner are out due to concussion protocols. Talei Holmes will wear the No.13 jersey, switching from the edge to the middle.

Jaydika Tafua has accepted a two-match ban for dangerous contact, opening the door for Manilita Takapautolo and Anne-Marie Kiria-Ratu to start in the second row.

Promising prop Leki Leilua is listed on the interchange for her NRLW debut, while speedster Grace-Lee Weekes has been elevated from 18th woman to the bench.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 4.15pm. Watch live on 9, 9Now, Foxtel and Kayo.
