Late Mail: Round 21 v Rabbitohs

Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon has confirmed a late change for tonight's clash with the Rabbitohs at polytec Stadium in Gosford.

Siosifa Talakai is a late scratching due to illness, with young gun Chris Vea'ila replacing him at centre after a try-scoring debut against the Roosters last week.

With Talakai dropping out of the squad, Hohepa Puru is the 18th man.

Kick-off is at 7.35pm AEST. Catch the action live on Foxtel and Kayo.

Coach Craig Fitzgibbon has named his 22-man squad for Saturday night's match against the Rabbitohs at polytec Stadium in Gosford as the Sharks chase a third consecutive victory.

With Briton Nikora sidelined due to concussion protocols, Billy Burns will start in the second row after scoring a crucial try in last week's win over the Roosters.

In a backline boost, powerful centre Jesse Ramien is named to return from hamstring tightness. Ramien's presence means young gun Chris Vea'ila has reverted to the reserves list following a stellar NRL debut.

Having been replaced by Burns on the interchange in a late switch last week, utility Daniel Atkinson has reclaimed his bench position.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 7.35pm AEST. CLICK HERE to secure tickets.

The match will be broadcast live on Foxtel and Kayo.
