Biddle accepts one-match ban

Broncos premiership winner Brianna Clark has copped a two-game ban for a high shot in week one of the Pacific Championships but will not miss any NRLW matches.

Clark was charged with a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle on Samoa's Sienna Lofipo in the clash at Go Media Stadium.

Having already served a one-game ban for a Careless High Tackle in Round 6 of the NRLW season, the incident with Lofipo was her second offence of this nature.

The two-game ban rules her out of the Kiwi Ferns' clash with the Jillaroos at Eden Park in week three of the Pacific Championships and also the Pacific Cup final.

Meanwhile, Roosters forward Aliyah Nasio will miss four matches after she was unsuccessful in her bid to have a Striking charge downgraded at the judiciary.

Nasio had pleaded guilty to the Grade 3 charge but was seeking a downgrade in an effort to represent Tonga in the Pacific Championships. 

The 19-year-old will now miss Tonga's matches against Cook Islands and PNG in the Pacific Bowl tournament and the start of the 2026 NRLW season.

The incident happened as the full-time siren sounded in the NRLW grand final when Nasio became involved in a heated exchange with Broncos five-eighth Gayle Broughton before fellow Bronco Julia Robinson came to her team-mate's aid and was struck in the face.

Nasio was hit with a Grade 3 Striking charge and sent straight to the judiciary.

Roosters back-rower Jasmin Strange was the other player charged following the grand final and has accepted a $400 fine with an early guilty plea to a Tripping charge.

The incident involving Broncos five-eighth Gayle Broughton occurred in the eighth minute of the decider and was classified as a Grade 1 offence.

The charge carried a one-game ban but Strange was able to accept a $400 fine with an early guilty plea under Rule 39A of the NRLW judiciary code.
