A tale of contrasting games last round for this week's opponents, with the Storm just getting home against the Rabbitohs in a seesawing game, while the Sharks were run down in the second half by the Broncos.

Cronulla will need to regroup quickly and put the disappointment of leading 28-12 early in the second half only to lose 34-28 behind them when they face a Storm side on high alert after being scared by the Bunnies.

Storm also started their last match well racing to a two-try lead, only to be dragged into a scrap that could not be decided in regular time, with a golden point field goal from Ryan Papenhuyzen the deciding factor.

Team News

Storm: Nelson Asofa-Solomona will start the game and Stefano Utoikamanu goes to the bench in a late switch. Xavier Coates is back on deck after he was rested last weekend, with Grant Anderson shifting to the centres and Jack Howarth (appendicitis) ruled out. Bronson Garlick is 18th man.

Sharks: Daniel Atkinson has dropped back to 18th man and Billy Burns comes onto the bench an hour before kick-off. Oregon Kaufusi returns from a hamstring injury after he was a late withdrawal last weekend, with Braden Hamlin-Uele shifting to the interchange and Hohepa Puru dropping out of the side.
