Female Winter Academy applications now open

Applications are now open for players and staff interested in being part of the 2025 Female Sharks Winter Academy program.

Three female development squads will be assembled – under 13/14s, under 15/16s and under 17/18s. Applications close on Tuesday, May 27.

Trials for the 13/14s and 15/16s will take place at Woolooware High School on Tuesday, June 3, while details for the 17s/18s will be confirmed once application numbers are known; this will determine if a trial is required.

Applicants will be provided additional trial information via email.

Players selected in the final squads will take part in a training program across approximately eight weeks, preparing them to play at higher levels.

It comes after a successful Junior Rep season for Cronulla's under-17 Lisa Fiaola and under-19 Tarsha Gale teams, who both played in the finals earlier this month.

Staff roles for the Female Winter Academy are available for coaches, team managers and Level 2 trainers. Interviews are by invite only.
