The Sharks will field a near full-strength team against the Raiders at GIO Stadium on Thursday night in their second and final trial.

Winger Sione Katoa is the only NRL regular missing from the 26-man squad, with coach Craig Fitzgibbon eager to put miles into the legs of his senior players as they prepare to head overseas to face the Panthers in Round 1.

Will Kennedy, Sam Stonestreet, Kayal Iro, Oregon Kaufusi, Sifa Talakai, Braden Hamlin-Uele and Tom Hazelton are among those backing up from last week's 12-all draw with the Warriors to kick off the Witzer Pre-Season Challenge.

Addin Fonua-Blake will make his Sharks debut in the front row, while the likes of Nicho Hynes, Braydon Trindall, Jesse Ramien, Blayke Brailey, Cam McInnes, Briton Nikora, Ronaldo Mulitalo and Teig Wilton will have their first hit-out of the season.

Kick-off is at 7.50pm, with live coverage on Fox League and Kayo.
