Sharks to face Souths in pre-Christmas Junior Rep trials

Cronulla's pathways squads will get their first chance to impress ahead of the 2025 NSWRL Junior Representative season with pre-Christmas trials against the Rabbitohs at the Sharks Academy.

The Lisa Fiaola (under 17) and Tarsha Gale (u19) women's teams will host South Sydney this Saturday, December 14, with the Harold Matthews (u17) and SG Ball (u19) boys taking centre stage on the evening of Friday, December 20.

After an intense training block, the young Sharks will be eager to translate their hard work into strong performances given the squads are yet to be finalised.

The Sharks enjoyed a successful 2024 Junior Representative season as both the Harold Matthews and Tarsha Gale sides reached week two of the finals. The SG Ball team narrowly missed the playoffs, while the Lisa Fiaola girls improved significantly throughout the course of their maiden full-length campaign.

The NSWRL draws for the upcoming season were released on Wednesday, confirming the four Sharks Junior Representative sides will tackle the Panthers at HE Laybutt Sporting Complex in Round 1. They'll all be in action at Sharks Stadium in Round 2, the men taking on the Raiders and the women hosting the Sea Eagles.
