Sharks second-rower Siosifa Talakai will miss Friday night's home clash with Wests Tigers after taking the early guilty plea for high tackle on Titans hooker Sam Verrills.
Talakai was sin-binned and charged with a Grade 2 offence for the contact in the 11th minute of Cronulla's 20-16 defeat to the Titans at Coffs Harbour in Round 18.
He faced a two-game ban if he challenged and lost at the judiciary.
With the Sharks having a bye in Round 20, Talakai will be available for selection the following week against the Cowboys in Townsville.
