It's third versus second as the Jets prepare to face the Bears in a heavyweight encounter at Henson Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Jets produced an attacking clinic with seven tries in the 38-4 demolition at home, headlined by starring performances from hooker Jayden Berrell, wingers Tom Rodwell and Sam Stonestreet, fullback Liam Ison and prop Jesse Colquhoun.

North Sydney have strung together four consecutive victories of their own to remain two competition points above Newtown and level with the first-placed Raiders.

In a boost for the Jets, powerhouse prop Tuku Hau Tapuha is set to play after being left off the interchange for Cronulla's NRL clash with the Dolphins on Thursday.
