Celebrating National Volunteer Week

In recognition of National Volunteer Week, the Sharks pay tribute to those who generously offer their time, passion and hard work to support the club and give back to the community.

This year's National Volunteer Week, which runs from 20-26 May, is themed "Something for Everyone" – and that's exactly the case for more than 25 dedicated Heart to Heart Shark Crew volunteers who fulfil a variety of important roles.

Shark Crew members are a vital part of all community activations on game day at PointsBet Stadium, assisting with 50-50 Charity Raffle donations, setting up junior rugby league fields, greeting Members and fans at the gates, ushering Sharks mascots around the ground and taking photos for the Ace Gutters fan gallery.

Outside their game-day commitments, several Shark Crew members volunteer to help with school holiday clinics and other Sharks Have Heart community events.

Our Shark Crew program provides a unique opportunity for individuals to connect with the club through an exclusive volunteer network with key responsibilities.

"Our volunteers provide our club with tremendous support every year," Sharks Community Engagement Manager Luke Koutrodimos said.

"Their contributions allow us to do what we do with ease, knowing that we have reliable volunteers that help out and get the job done with a smile.

"It has been a delight to see our volunteers working together and executing their roles alongside each other as one team."

The Cronulla Sharks would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who volunteers in the Sutherland Shire. Through your efforts, you make our community stronger together.
