Jersey Flegg Team List - Round 7

The Jersey Flegg Sharks will be keen to get their season heading in a positive direction when they host the Manly Sea Eagles in a match to be played as the curtain-raiser to the Cronulla v North Queensland NRL match at PointsBet Stadium on Sunday.

The Flegg Sharks snapped a three-game losing streak at their most recent outing against Souths, however a last minute converted try by their opponents robbed them of one competition point after the match finished in a 20-all draw.

While an improved performance from the young Sharks team, they will be aiming to take another step forward on Sunday against a Manly outfit coming off a 20-16 victory over the Warriors away from home last weekend.

With the NRL Sharks close to having a full complement to choose from, the ripple down effect will see the Flegg side bolstered by the inclusion of exciting young fullback Liam Ison and prop Max Bradbury, with both having spent time with the Jets this season in the NSW Cup, along with backrower Dylan Coutts. The trio are members of the Sharks fulltime NRL training group.

The Sharks currently sit 11th on the Flegg ladder, with the Sea Eagles in eighth position.

The Jersey Flegg match is scheduled for a 1.50pm kickoff at PointsBet Stadium on Sunday, with the NRL clash to follow at 4.05pm.
