They're the cream of the crop, the heartbeat of game-day entertainment - and now the Cronulla Sharks Mermaids are looking for their next star dancers with audition registrations open for 2024.
Rated among the NRL's best cheer squads for their jaw-dropping skill, constant professionalism and positive community presence, the Minespec Parts Mermaids have long been a vital and beloved part of the Sharks organisation.
Keen to unearth more outstanding talent, the Sharks invite highly trained professional dancers to trial for a place on the squad for the upcoming season.
As well as lighting up PointsBet Stadium with dynamic performances at all home games - rehearsing weekly to nail down their routines - the Minespec Parts Mermaids regularly appear at various community and corporate events.

2024 audition details

Callbacks – Saturday, February 4
Location: To be confirmed via email upon registration
Time: 12.30pm
Must be available on the following dates for pre-season rehearsals:
- February 13, 20, 27
- March 5
Eligibility
- Must be 18 years old by March 2024
- Must have reliable transportation to rehearsals and game days
- Must be able to attend the entire audition process
- Must be available to attend rehearsals on Tuesday evenings
- Must be available for all 2024 home games
