Jersey Flegg Team List – Round 25

In one of their more complete performances this season, the Jersey Flegg Sharks built on an early lead to beat the Canberra Raiders last week to all-but confirm a place in the top five and the upcoming Finals series.

The under-21 Sharks led 18-0 after just 15 minutes of the match, before going on with the job in recording a 34-16 victory, with the two competition points leaving them four clear of the fifth placed Storm, six ahead of the Eels who are sixth, with only two rounds remaining.

The Jersey Flegg competition holds a five-team Finals series.

The Sharks will look to go into the Finals with winning form, starting with their clash against the Wests Tigers on Sunday.

In a match to be played at Lidcombe Oval, kicking off at 12noon, the Sharks will have their hands full against a Tigers outfit sitting outside of Finals contention but were narrowly beaten 12-8 by the Cronulla side when they last met back in round 14.

The Jersey Flegg game will be the curtain-raiser to a KOE NSW Cup match between the Jets and Wests Magpies.

See below the Sharks team list.
