Taking the Sharks back to where it all began
In recalling where their rugby league journeys began, the Sharks NRL playing group sported the colours of their former junior league clubs at the Captain’s Run training session today. For the special occasion, jerseys were sent to the Sharks from as far away as New Zealand, the Cook Islands, WA, Queensland and from all parts of NSW, with the players to personally sign the jerseys before they are returned to their respective clubs for display or fundraising purposes. “It’s important to get back to your childhood and to think about where it all started and what you were dreaming about when you were wearing those colours,” Coach Craig Fitzgibbon said.
