Late Mail - Sharks v Warriors

The Sharks will field a team reporting no changes to the side which scored a strong last-start victory over the Tigers for their round 20 clash with the Warriors later today.

In a game kicking off at 4pm (NZ time), Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon has retained the same 17 as selected on Tuesday after Braden Hamlin-Uele was omitted from the extended squad at the 24-hour deadline last night.

Hamlin-Uele has a rib issue, and while in Auckland with the Sharks squad ahead of the game at Go Media Stadium, the hard running front rower has come up short in his bid to be available for a clash matching two teams pushing for places in the top four.

With his experienced teammate sidelined, promising youngster Jesse Colquhoun gets another opportunity in the top grade after impressing despite playing limited minutes in the Sharks win over Tigers last week.

The match will see former Sharks Monty Porter Medalist Shaun Johnson coming up against his former club, likewise Luke Metcalf who has excelled in recent weeks for the Warriors after making the switch to the New Zealand based club in search of playing opportunity.

The Sharks v Warriors match gets underway at 4pm (2pm Sydney time), with the two 17-man squads listed below.
