Madimack 'Power Players' - Round 16

The Sharks bounced back in style to down the Bulldogs 48-10 in front of a sell-out home crowd during round 16.

We take a look at the Madimack 'Power Players' from the clash.

BLAYKE BRAILEY

We all know how dangerous Blayke Brailey can be when he's on the front foot and tearing teams up through the middle, and the Sharks hooker had a day out against the Dogs in the No. 9 jersey.

Not only was Brailey's running game on show, but his crisp service and defensive reads were just a few of his highlights.

Receiving a well-earned break at the 66-minute mark, Brailey ended the afternoon with 66 run metres to his name, along with three line break assists and three try assists to go with his 25 tackles.

His service and decision making for his middles saw them tear through the Dogs all afternoon.

NICHO HYNES

A lot was said about Nicho Hynes during the build up to Origin II, but Nicho's mind never wandered from the task at hand in round 16. Taking it to the Bulldogs.

It all began with Hynes pouncing on a Bulldogs kick, breaking through the line to streak downfield going coast to coast, opening up space for Teig Wilton to crash over on the next play.

From there, Hynes took control of the match, featuring in several of his side's tries and running for a mammoth 236 metres.

Three line break assists, two try assists, three tackle breaks and a personal points tally of 16 for the afternoon.

CAM MCINNES

Cam McInnes was everywhere against the Bulldogs, and he's consistently like that every game.

A 53-minute stint for McInnes full of his trademark hard hitting defence, fast feet and quick play-the-balls.

He finished the afternoon with 107 run metres, two line break assists, a try assist and 33 tackles.

Rewarded for his efforts with a try of his, McInnes came crashing his way over next to the sticks in typical fashion - running hard and fast towards the line.

BRITON NIKORA

The milestone man Briton Nikora had an afternoon to remember in front of his family and friends in his 100th NRL match.

As consistent as ever, Nikora ran for 112 metres with two line breaks, four tackle breaks and a try to his name.

His bruising defence once again on show on his way to a team high 34 tackles.

The best part about Brit, is when the full-time siren sounds, he looks like he could do it all again.

JACK WILLIAMS

One Sharks that might not earn the praise as often as some of his peers is Jack Williams. But he's without a doubt one of the most consistent and reliable forwards in the pack and didn't it show against the Dogs in round 16.

Even though he was only on the paddock for 27 minutes, Williams made every minute count, on both sides of the ball.

Tough to contain in attack and hard working in defence, Williams finished with 139 run metres, two line breaks, 5 tackle breaks, 11 tackles and a barnstorming try up the middle.

BRADEN HAMLIN-UELE

Another middle who made the most of his minutes was Braden Hamlin-Uele.

A short stint for the big prop, but an effective and efficient one at that.

In his 38 minutes on the field, Braden clocked in 104 run metres, bending the line with 6 tackle breaks and busting through for a line break and try.

A performance from Hamlin-Uele that Sharks fans have become accustomed to.
