The Jets climbed into second position on the KOE NSW Cup ladder with a convincing win over the Knights at their last start and will be aiming to deliver a similar performance when they play the Sydney Roosters in a round 13 match up on Sunday.
The Newtown side was dominant in a 40-12 victory over the Newcastle team in a win, in a match where half back Braydon Trindall had a hand in all seven of the Jets tries on the day.
With Nicho Hynes selected in the NSW Origin team for game one of the series next Wednesday, Trindall has been left out of the Jets team to play the Roosters to be on stand by for the Sharks half ahead of their round 14 clash with the Broncos the following week.
In his place, Daniel Atkinson returns after missing the Knights game while on duty in Coffs Harbour with the Sharks, with the five-eighth/utility 18th man for the round 12 NRL game.
The Jets v Roosters match is scheduled for a 3.15pm kick off at Wentworth Park on Sunday, with match details and the Newtown team listed below.
