After two losses and a scratchy win over the Dragons, the Jersey Flegg Sharks bounced back to form with a dominant win over the Sea Eagles at 4 Pines Park last Sunday.
The Sharks scored eight tries in a 40-4 victory, the win seeing them move up to second place on the Jersey Flegg ladder.
In the win at 4 Pines the Sharks scored twice in the opening 10 minutes, lock and captain crossed for their third shortly after and from that point they were rarely threatened, half back Cody Fuz impressive in his second game back following a shoulder injury, while the middle forward also paved the way for the big Cronulla win.
This week the Flegg Sharks play the curtain raiser ahead of the Jets v Knights NSW Cup clash at Henson Park on Saturday, against a Newcastle side coming off a last start loss to the St George Illawarra Dragons.
The Knights are currently in ninth place through the opening 11 rounds of the Flegg competition.
