The Newtown Jets, who returned to form with a strong win over defending premiers the Panthers last weekend, are back in action when they play the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles in a round 11 KOE NSW Cup match on Sunday.
The last start win for the Jets who sit in fourth position on the competition ladder, was their six of the season, against three losses in nine matches played by the Newtown side.
Against the Panthers Sharks contracted players Daniel Atkinson and Sam Stonestreet both notched try scoring doubles in the Jets victory.
The Jets v Sea Eagles match is scheduled to be the second of three games played at 4 Pines on Sunday, with kick off set down for 1.35pm.
The game will be followed by the Sharks v Manly NRL match, with the two clubs also involved in a round 11 Jersey Flegg match on Sunday prior to the NSW Cup clash.
