After a comprehensive victory over the Roosters last weekend the Newtown Jets team riding high on confidence heads to Accor Stadium and a match against the Knock On Effect NSW Cup ladder-leading Bulldogs on Saturday.
The two teams played at Henson Park just three weeks ago, the Bulldogs coming out on top in a game dominated by defence, however the third-placed Newtown side will be relishing the opportunity to extract some revenge in the game at Accor Stadium this weekend.
As is the case most weeks, the Jets team features a number of Sharks contracted players, Connor Tracey, Mawene Hiroti and Jayden Berrell amongst them, while they will also be bolstered by those named in the NRL squad not required and dropping back to compete in the NSW Cup clash.
The Jets v Bulldogs NSW Cup game will be played as the curtain raiser to the Sharks v Bulldogs NRL match, kicking off at 3.05pm at Accor Stadium on Saturday.
