Taco Team List Tuesday - Sharks v Raiders

It wasn’t perfect, but it was a welcome victory and one to get the season up and running as the Sharks beat the Eels in a thriller last Friday night.

The Sharks trailed early, put themselves in front with some spectacular attacking play, before being forced to hold on grimly to claim the two competition points in a tense finish.

It was a win the Cronulla side will look to build on when they travel to Canberra this Sunday afternoon to tackle the Raiders.

None from two following losses to the Cowboys and Dolphins, the Raiders will be desperate for success in what will be their first game on home this season.

In Sharks team news, Coach Craig Fitzgibbon has made just one minor change to the team that beat Parramatta, with Jack Williams returning to the interchange bench at the expense of Connor Tracey who is 18th man.

Williams missed the Eels match after suffering a concussion in round one.

Braydon Trindall after two solid outings to open the season has retained his place in the halves, with Nicho Hynes again missing from the Sharks line up.

The Sharks v Raiders match is the final game of the weekend, kicking off at 6.15pm at GIO Stadium in Canberra.
