The Newtown Jets, the Sharks partner club in the Knock On Effect NSW Cup, will look to continue their impressive start to the 2023 season when they travel to Canberra to take on the Raiders on Sunday.

The Jets will be the second of three games at GIO Stadium, following a round three match in the Jersey Flegg and as the curtain-raiser to the Sharks v Raiders NRL clash.

The Newtown side features six Sharks contracted players, including Mawene Hiroti at fullback, young winger Sam Stonestreet who bagged three tries in the round two win over the Eels, as well as 2022 NSW Cup player of the year Kayal Iro.  

The Jets v Raiders game is scheduled for a 4.00pm kick off.
