Following on from a year in which the Matthews Cup Sharks won their way through to a Grand Final, the SG Ball squad was competitive in narrowly missing a place in the Finals, while the Tarsha Gale girls supplied a number of players to the successful senior Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership squad at the conclusion of their 2022 season.
In all it was another successful campaign for the Sharks junior rep and development pathways program, with the Sharks now inviting applications for the 2023 season for their Harold Matthews, SG Ball and Tarsha Gale squads, for both players and staff.
Trials will conducted for players interested in being a part of the three junior representative teams, beginning with the under-17’s Matthews Cup on September 15 (subject to change) followed by the SG Ball (under 19’s) and Tarsha Gale Cup women’s (under19’s) trials on September 17.
All trials are by application and invite only, with players to be notified once selected to take part.

The Sharks also require experienced and qualified staff to assist with delivering a professional junior rep and pathways program, with Coaches, Sports Trainers and Strength & Conditioning staff, Physiotherapists, Equipment Coordinators, Team Managers and Ground Announcers/Timekeepers, encouraged to apply.
